    Investigate real sounds

    Use your microphone to see the waveform from your voice, clapping, humming, whistling, or nearby sounds. Freeze holds the clearest recent waveform, so short sounds are easier to catch.

    Dominant frequency is the strongest pitch-like vibration the microphone detects at that moment.

    Musical note is the nearest piano-style note to that frequency, so it is approximate for speech and noisy sounds.
